Not even twenty-four hours have passed since we posted about the teaser photo of the brand new Batmobile in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie, directed by Zack Snyder, and we already have the first full look at the Batmobile…and Batman himself!
At 9:11am today, Zack Snyder tweeted out this first look at the masked vigilante:

Ben Affleck’s visage is now masked by the cowl and face-covering of the Caped Crusader, who has definitely appeared to have bulked up for the role. The costume is different from the previous Batman series by Christopher Nolan: namely, the ears are much shorter and the costume lacks the angular designs etched into Christian Bale’s iconic outfit.

As our own staff writer Russ suspected, this new Batmobile appears to be a hybrid of the designs for the Dark Knight Trilogy’s Batmobile and the Batmobile featured in Batman Forever. We can’t wait to see more. Batman vs. Superman is slated for 2016.
